Exmoor Printers is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team in Minehead. About the Role

You’ll work with state-of-the-art Apple computers and the latest Adobe Creative Cloud software. Additionally, you’ll operate our cutting-edge Xerox digital press, producing a variety of paper-based printed products. Please note, this role is fully onsite—remote working is not feasible in this job role.

While this is primarily a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM), we’re open to considering part-time/three-day-week contract for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Graphic Design: Create high-quality print-based artwork, including promotional materials, brochures, business cards, and more. You’ll also design logos and screen graphics to meet client needs.
  
• Customer Interaction: Meet clients face-to-face to discuss their requirements, provide creative input, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  
• Print Production: Operate our state of the art Xerox digital press and print finishing equipment to produce a wide range of paper-based printed products (Full training will be provided on our equipment and print production software.)
  
• Customer Accounts: Create, maintain, and manage customer accounts using ‘QuickBooks’, including quotations, estimates, and billing (full training provided).
  
• Customer Inquiries: Handle inquiries via email, telephone, and on-site visits with professionalism and a customer-focused attitude.
  
• Key Holder Responsibilities: Open and close the commercial premises on a regular basis.
  
• Social Media: Update and manage social media accounts, showcasing our latest work, sharing relevant business information, and responding to inquiries.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Graphic Design or substantial experience in design, particularly in print, screen, and still image work.
  
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is essential.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong passion for producing exceptional results.
  
• Strong spelling and grammar skills for proofreading and communications.
  
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  
• A proactive, adaptable approach to managing diverse tasks and responsibilities.
  

What We Offer

• Salary: £24,000 to £28,000 per annum, (dependent on experience.)
  
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Holiday: 28 days annual leave.
